ESTABLISHED IN 2005
 

SS Customs Started in 2005 as a division of a sign company. In 2011 the division split and opened a shop of its own in Redwood City expanding its services in the Custom Automotive and Restyling market. Today it is growing strong and is known in Northern CA as one of the premier high end custom automotive shops in the region. SS Customs is currently the reigning “Wrap Like a King West Coast Region”winners and is the only company to be a PaintIsDead.com certified shop in California among other note-able accomplishments.

Micaela Cortti is the Co-Founder and Brand Director of SS Customs, where her vision and creative direction have defined the company’s identity from day one. Balancing aesthetics with structure, Micaela helped build the foundation of SS Customs’ reputation as a leading Vehicle Enhancement Studio.

Today, she oversees brand development, business strategy, and all physical and visual aspects of the SS Customs experience—from storefront presentation to client touchpoints—ensuring every detail reflects the same precision the team applies to each vehicle. Her thoughtful leadership and intuitive design sensibility bring balance and sophistication to every project.

Micaela believes lasting success comes from collaboration, trust, and shared purpose. As both a co-founder and brand steward, she continues to guide SS Customs’ transformation into a world-class automotive lifestyle brand rooted in design, performance, and authenticity.

John Keith Windsor

/ Managing Director

As Managing Director of SS Customs, John Keith Windsor brings over 25 years of executive leadership in business development and commercial infrastructure. His extensive experience in governance, operations, and project management has been instrumental in guiding SS Customs through its most significant period of growth.

Though relatively new to the automotive industry, John’s three decades of corporate build fundamentals give him a uniquely objective perspective—allowing him to scale the business while preserving the brand’s culture and creative DNA. His structured, methodical approach ensures that every expansion enhances, rather than dilutes, SS Customs’ reputation for precision and innovation.

A true architect of the company’s foundation, John prefers to work behind the scenes, building the systems that empower each department to thrive. His relentless work ethic and steady leadership continue to shape the next chapter of SS Customs’ evolution.

Tanya Poole

With over 20 years in the automotive industry, Tanya Poole brings an unmatched level of organization, professionalism, and precision to SS Customs. As Operations Manager, she ensures the smooth coordination of projects across departments and maintains the highest standards in both client experience and internal workflow.

Tanya’s daily cadence sets the tone for the entire shop. Her attention to detail, clear communication, and unwavering commitment to quality ensure that every build runs seamlessly—from intake to delivery. The result is a consistently polished experience for clients and technicians alike.

Sean Stavert

For over seven years, Sean Stavert has led SS Customs’ production team, overseeing every installation with precision, efficiency, and pride. Known for his meticulous standards and deep technical expertise, Sean ensures each project meets the company’s uncompromising quality benchmarks—on time and without compromise.

His favorite part of the job is delivering a finished vehicle to its owner and witnessing their excitement and emotion—a moment that reminds him why he loves what he does. That commitment to excellence drives both his leadership and his team.

Outside the shop, Sean is a lifelong automotive enthusiast who enjoys golfing, traveling with his wife Reyna, and spending time with his loyal dog Rodney—an honorary member of the SS Customs family.
